Returns process

When you receive your item, you must check it as soon as possible following receipt and always before use. Your right is to change your mind as we’ve all done it. We order something and then realized later that it is no longer needed. You have 15 days to return your order under our 15 day return period policy, which starts on the day after you received the item. It’s so simple, please follow the steps set out below (please see the section headed ‘How Do I Return My Order’) All items must be returned unused and in the original packaging as they were in when received by you. Please ensure that when you receive an item that you take reasonable care of it when trying it /inspecting it eg. please ensure that any security seals or tags are still intact.

RMA request means you can send your order back for us for inspection. Once received, our engineering staff will determine the next steps.

If your product is defective, we will replace or refund your order. If we can repair your product, we will do so and ship it back to you.

Due to the nature of bicycling and its inherent risks, purchase refunds come with the following stipulations: Every product purchased through Bicycle Parts Direct (without exception) MUST be returned as new, in original, re-sellable, unused, undamaged (physically and aesthetically), unaltered condition and its unused, unstained, unaltered original packaging. If not, but we can resell the product at our discretion, a repair fee will be assessed. If we cannot resell the product as new, a refund will not be permitted. We know you will agree with our approach as we are sure you would not want to receive a product that has been used previously by someone else. Your safety is our driving concern.

How Do I Return My Order

We offer two ways to return your order:

Your personal data will be used to support your experience throughout this website, to manage access to your account, and for other purposes described in our privacy policy.

Freight charges for items returned to Bicycle Parts are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for any returns sent back to us that are lost in the mail. We highly recommend using a tracked service so that you can check the status of your return. We are not liable for any parcels lost before they reach us. We only become responsible for parcels sent back to us when they are received at our returns address. Until this point, your parcel is still in the care of the postal service provider. Should your parcel be lost en route, you will need to claim with your postal service provider.

Please note that bottom bracket, derailleur hangers, and many of our other products are make and model specific. While every effort to provide our customers with compatibility information, final selection responsibilities lies with you.

All Bicycle Parts products have a lifetime warranty and are 100% guaranteed to work for you upon purchase.

Helpful information about our returns process

If you wish to return all or any part of your order for any reason, it must be returned to us freight prepaid. All returns are subject to inspection. We will accept only unused items in their original, unopened, undamaged, intact packaging. We will accept no merchandise returns later than 30 days from the purchase date. Sales of closeout items are final; we will accept no returns.

In the case of defective merchandise, we reserve the right to credit or replace that item at our discretion or have the manufacturer repair or replace the item directly, depending on the warranty policy for that brand. Unless stated otherwise, you must claim claims for warranty within one year from the purchase date.

No warranty on merchandise used commercially (rentals, etc.).

Bicycle Parts will refund products purchased directly from Bicycle Parts at our discretion.

New and Unused items may be returned in their original unopened packaging up to 30 days from the date of purchase for a refund. Please allow 10-14 business days for returns to be processed.

IMPORTANT: Opened or damaged packaging will require repacking. As such, a repair fee of up to 15% of the purchase price will be applied to the original amount, and your refund will be adjusted accordingly at our discretion.

IMPORTANT:Product damage that alters the physical appearance, mechanical integrity, and or in any way alters the ability to reuse the product will not refund the product in the manner or intent in which it was originally designed and manufactured for.

IMPORTANT: Items returned for refund that were originally shipped under our “free shipping” promotion, will be charged the initial shipment amount. Additionally, Some financial services charge a service fee for your order’s processing, and those charges will be deducted from your refund amount.

We do not offer exchanges. Please submit a new order and return the original for a refund.

Refunds will be issued to the same payment method as the original purchase (credit card or PayPal), less original shipping charges, transaction services fees, and a small restocking fee.
